Represent Ltd.™ NEWS #039 | October 25 - October 31, 2020 - Represent Ltd.™

Welcome to Represent Ltd.’s news, Here is this weeks news.

Halloween Night is here, hope everyone has a safe and fun Halloween.  October felt like it flew by, so many things have happened.  The Dodgers world series championship drought is over.  Elections are in just a few days, who are you voting for?  Lots of new drops this week, and exciting things happening, let’s get into it.

After a 32 year drought, the Los Angeles Dodgers are once again World Series Champions.  Congratulations to the team, the fans, the city of Los Angeles and the organization, well deserved victory.  The fans especially have been die-hard through all the ups and downs over the years, to finally get a championship is a great accomplishment.  To commemorate this great accomplishment we launched the THINK BLUE 2020 Champions Capsule that includes a black heavyweight hoodie, a white heavyweight hoodie, a black t-shirt, a white t-shirt, a classic snapback with custom embroidery and finally a die-cut bumper sticker.  The capsule has been selling fast, grab yours while they are available.  We are also dropping a City of Champions design to commemorate the dual championship for the city of Los Angeles honoring both championship Lakers and Dodgers teams.

For the professional boxer, kick boxer, mixed martial artist and for the everyday striking enthusiast, we are proud to release our first Hand Wraps.  The Original Classic Gang Hand Wraps measure over 180 inches in length, are breathable and quick drying — the material we used keep your hands cooler during training and will dry faster when washing for re-use.  The first batch is very limited,  train hard and always represent.

Our three major holiday collections are all nearly sold out.  Diaz De Los Muertos, Glow in the dark, Pumpkin Head Jiu Jitsu Monster by Marcus Baca and Break On Through capsules have a few sizes left, these are all limited edition and will not be printed again.  Diaz De Los Muertos includes a hoodie, a t-shirt as well as an ofrenda candle and a custom cut bumper sticker.  Our third edition Pumpkin Head Jiu Jitsu drop, by artist photographer Marcus Baca includes a glow in the dark t-shirt and a custom cut weatherproof bumper sticker - super limited edition and very festive.  Finally Break On Through collection includes a hoodie, t-shirt and a detailed classic snapback — the artwork on the front of the hat is insane, great work by the artist Julian Akbar.

Our inaugural collector’s edition soft enamel pins have arrived and are moving like crazy.  We are already nearly half way sold out of the 500 limited edition collectors pin. The  Never Established 1 inch soft enamel pins feature high detail and craftsmanship, custom black painted backing and individual numeration on each of the packaging make this a collectible for all the real ones.  We are working on new collectibles and will be launching them soon.

We are still giving out Free lanyards with all orders.  From now until we run out, we will be adding Represent lanyards to each order starting today.

UFC 254 was a big event at UFC Fight Island in Abu Dhabi last week.  The reaper, Robert Whittaker put on a great performance defeating Jarrod Cannonier in a highly technical middle weight contender fight.  The main event ended with Khabib remaining undefeated and then subsequently retiring.  This triggered a small tweet storm from our flagship athlete Nate Diaz (show tweets).  Big event from Bellator on Thursday, as Gegard Mousasi defeats welter weight champion Diego Lima to obtain the vacant middle weight title belt.  Also, congrats to Henry Corrales for an impressive victory over Brandon Girtz.  Henry’s post fight call-out was golden (play clip).  Great night of boxing on Da Zone, as Jaime Mungia retains his super middle weight belt by beating a tough opponent in Tureano Johnson.

UFC Fight Night Vegas 12 takes place tonight, October 31st and features the legendary MMA veteran, Anderson Silvas final walk to the octagon against the always solid Uriah Hall.  Other notable fights on the card Maurice Greene versus the controversial Greg Hardy and the self-proclaimed cousin of the Diaz Brothers, Bobby Green takes on Thiago Moses.  Bobby Green is on a 3 fight win streak, and if he wins today will be the fastest 4 fight win streak in UFC history, good luck to Bobby, repping California.

Big night of boxing as The Mayweather Team’s own Gervonta Davis takes on Leo Santa Cruz live on Showtime.  Both fighters have made weight and are ready for a big title fight.  Top Rank is also having a big show with Japanese champion Naoya Inoue taking on Jason Maloney.  Also on the card, a women’s championship fight featuring Mikaela Mayer.  Great night for boxing.

Rest In Peace to the legendary Sean Connery.

We are in the final stages of releasing our first ever craft beer.  Our first edition beer will be called ‘Protect The Hood’ and is a special collaboration with Beer Thug Life, Vendetta Studios, Hip Hop Craft and Chelas Mundial.  This beer will be distributed for a limited amount of time in several local liquor stores and will be available online to 48 of the 50 states.  We will be having a special event at the brewery in Los Angeles, stay posted for the event details.  If you have any local liquor stores you would like to have carry our beer, make sure to email david at rep hard dot com.
